@Harrismargaret9 Tarkett is a 125+ year old company that manufacturers all types of flooring, including much of the VCT tile that you walk on at a facility. The Tarkett Sports Indoor line ( http://www.tarkettsportsindoor.com/products/) includes MFMA wood floors, cushioned sports vinyl, cushioned linoleum (a one of a kind product) and recycled and virgin rubber products.
I will greatly agree with Richard Onslager to make sure that life-cycle costs are kept in mind when determining the floor of choice. Tarkett Sports is represented Nationwide by exclusive distributors and offer a consultative approach to ensure that the floor you select meets the needs of the facility.

I've never heard of Tarkett sport surfaces. My local gym has a multi-sport surface made by Plexipave. It's held up great over the past few years and is perfect for a variety of sports.

I would like to let everyone know what happened to one of my identical twins. He went to his guidance counselor at the beginning of the school year at which I and his other twin was present.. This would be the twins senior year and both boys had been playing soccer since they were 8yrs old. they both made the Highschool JV team even though they were only in 8th grade at the middle school. "A" asked the counselor in guiding him thru his schedule. "a" asked to take Algebra 2 over to up his GPA, his counselor added that to his schedule not telling "A" nor me that taking a class over would NOT be a credit, he will be graduating with a advance diploma. as a elective his conselor told him he needed to take Anatomy, a couple weeks into Anatomy "A" seen he couldnt handle it and went to his counselor to be changed out and put into something he wanted to do to help with what he wanted to do once out of HS. But his counselor is also a driver education teacher, and coaches 2 sports so he is rarely around. My son got a blue slip but his counselor never called him down and on several accounts after the counselor still couldnt be caught in his office always busy. to make a long story short at the end of the semester my son was told he was ineligible to play soccer his senior year. even our athlectic directory had no idea this could be appealed but after complaining we were sent to the first appeal which was turned down..2nd appeal..turned down..3rd appeal turned down..I think it was unfair that this counselor even admitted he was in the wrong but the high school would NOT stand behind my son and VHSL would not let him play, yes I am angry at the school and always will be as we had colleges scouting both boys..we had our first scrimmage yesterday and the one twin played but said it wasnt the same, and it wasnt the same and it isnt fair..I wne thru cancer and my dad whom lives with us and is 90 and has demicia, not to mention his step dad had to take disablitlity and early retirement due to a fall of 13 ft from his job, we are struggling and home life is very hard on the family, we felt this was "A"'s outlet from his home life, but VHSLY says they see no hardship and the answer is NO..is there anything else I can do to help make other aware of this?

We are considering complete upgrade of our club managment package. I would like to hear from anyone who has updated software package within last 12 months and if they are happy with their selection. We have 4 clubs that have 24 hour a day unmanned access with about 10,000 total members. We are considering hosted application as we currently have desktop. If anyone has any possitive or negative experience with any providers I would appreciate the information. Thanks.

Hi there; We are using a software system called Book King....It is very affordable and there are two components to the program there is the programming side - which can be used if you have programs at your facility or the scheduling module for all of your facilities. Itis a great sytem with very little set up costs. Our current cost is approximately $ 275.00 / month for both components. You can choose only one module if you wish. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
